Episode 3
Stress, lack of sleep, processed food, and poor nutrition are all too common in our modern world. Running to work, to home, to events – day in and day out it starts to seem like a vicious cycle. Many people haven’t learned how to cook and prepare meals and either rely on processed foods or take-out for their primary diet. Over time the lack of nutrients combined with stress and not enough rest takes its toll on our bodies. For many people in mid-life, they can start to experience inflammation and other symptoms and the health care and education systems are somewhat limited and people aren’t getting the necessary help they need.
Even though we might need to undo some of our bad eating habits and take time to cook, we need to know what works for our bodies and what doesn’t. That’s where someone like Amber Gourley comes into our lives to help us get back on the path towards a healthier lifestyle. Amber also known as The Disobedient Dietician joins me in episode 3 of Conversations.
